MUSE LEADERSHIP

MUSE Virtual is led by a highly experienced team of educators that are committed to bringing the award winning MUSE educational experience to students around the world. They lead a team of highly skilled teachers, advisors and staff that share the same goal, vision, and mission that MUSE Virtual stands for.

Tressa Wyner

Head of School

Tressa Wyner brings over 20 years of experience as a passionate educator and middle school teacher. Originally from Minnesota, she earned her B.A. in Psychology and K–8 teaching license from Hamline University. Tressa joined the MUSE community in 2015 as a middle school homeroom and math teacher, and quickly became an integral part of the school’s leadership.

A certified Process Communication Model (PCM) trainer since 2018, Tressa is deeply committed to helping students—and parents—develop clear communication skills and healthy conflict resolution strategies. Her leadership journey at MUSE has included multiple roles, culminating in her appointment as Director of Middle High in 2023 and now as Head of School at MUSE Global.

Tressa is a true champion of MUSE’s 5 Pillars, and she feels grateful to be part of a community that nurtures lifelong learners, self-advocates, and critical thinkers. She encourages students, staff, and families to take risks, play with purpose, stay true to their convictions, reflect meaningfully, and support one another with empathy and intention.

Outside of school, Tressa loves spending time with her husband, three sons, and two dogs. She enjoys cooking, exploring the outdoors, and visiting her extended family in Minnesota.

Megan Grieco

Director of K-12

For more than 15 years, Megan Grieco has dedicated her career to transforming primary and secondary education. Her passion for learning, environmental and social justice, and teaching young people to connect with both their minds and bodies is woven into everything she does as an educator and leader.

After earning dual master’s degrees in Literacy and Special Education, Megan moved to Southern California to lead a play-based early childhood education program and to pursue teaching opportunities that aligned with her belief that education should inspire curiosity, foster connection, and deepen our relationship with each other and the planet.

When Megan discovered MUSE, she knew she had found her educational home. Since joining, she has taught across Elementary, Middle, and High School, while also serving in leadership roles on MUSE’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice steering committee, curriculum revision team, and special education resource management.

Today, as Director of Lower and Upper School, Megan remains committed to expanding students’ perspectives, nurturing academic excellence, and championing MUSE’s mission. She believes wholeheartedly that “each of us has the power to shape our world through the way we educate young people.”

Melissa Cardoza

Director of Business and HR

Since joining MUSE in February 2015, Melissa has been a passionate advocate for the school’s mission, vision, and commitment to plant-based living and sustainability. Her journey with MUSE began as an unpaid intern, driven by a deep belief in the school’s values. Through hard work and the mentorship of the Administration Team, she quickly rose through the ranks and has continued to grow with the organization ever since.

A proud San Fernando Valley native, Melissa earned her B.A. in Sociology and Civic Engagement from UCLA in 2012. She now lives in South Orange County with her husband, children, and their vizsla pup. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys immersing herself in nature, beach days, running, hiking, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
